Why Our Client Service Representatives Love It Here A team built around a "better together" philosophy A predictable 40-hour schedule with alternating Saturdays off A weekday off when you work Saturday Leadership that values your ideas, feedback, and contributions Weekly and monthly meetings that encourage open communication and collaboration Mentoring and support as you grow and advance your career Opportunities to use your skills to make a positive impact in your community Occasional coffee runs and meals on us An always-stocked fridge with drinks and snacks A team that understands the importance of having a great life outside the hospital What Our Client Service Representatives Do Greet clients and patients warmly while helping check-in, check-out, and reception flow run smoothly Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments by phone, email, online portal, text, and other approved methods Welcome new clients and share information about hospital services, policies, and resources Answer incoming calls professionally and route medical questions and urgent concerns to the veterinary team Monitor and respond to client communications throughout the day Create and maintain accurate client and patient records Prepare estimates, process invoices, collect payments, and complete other front-desk financial tasks Verify prescription and client information before releasing medications Address client concerns with empathy and involve the appropriate team member when additional support is needed Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming Contribute ideas that improve client service, hospital workflows, and the team experience Maintain a positive, team-focused approach, even on busy days What You'll Bring Previous client service, customer service, or front-desk experience Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus Strong communication and people skills with a warm, professional phone and in-person presence Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with scheduling, records, and payments A positive, supportive, and team-focused approach Confidence to own your responsibilities while knowing when to ask for help An eagerness to learn and grow within the veterinary field A commitment to teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional client service The Extras You'll Actually Feel At Gateway Pet Hospital, being part of the team means having a voice.
