Job Description

Daniels Health is seeking a safety-focused and detail-oriented Hazardous Field Service Representative to support hazardous waste operations at customer locations and designated consolidation areas. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely co-pack, commingle, identify, classify, label, and prepare hazardous waste for transportation and disposal in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. The FSR will also be responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of RCRA hazardous containers and preparing them for redeployment within the Hospital.

This position is primarily based at loading dock and waste accumulation areas, where the employee will manage hazardous waste streams, maintain regulatory compliance, and support customer waste management programs. Key Responsibilities Perform hazardous waste co-packing activities in accordance with RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and Daniels Health procedures. Segregate, identify, characterize, and properly label hazardous waste containers. Consolidate and commingle compatible waste streams following approved procedures and regulatory requirements. Manage satellite accumulation and hazardous waste storage areas. Inspect waste containers for proper packaging, labeling, and regulatory compliance. Prepare hazardous waste shipments for transportation and disposal. Ensure loading dock operations are maintained in a safe, compliant, and organized manner. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols. Conduct routine housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of waste handling areas. Report safety concerns, spills, incidents, or regulatory issues immediately. Assist with customer training and education regarding hazardous waste segregation and handling practices. Support environmental health and safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects. What are we looking for? Working at Stanford hospitals Someone with a can-do attitude who is committed to efficient, timely scheduling and has previous experience in a labor-intensive job. Delivering an integral service to healthcare, this is a hands-on field service role carried out within a hospital setting and will include heavy lifting from time to time.
