Job Description

Customer Service Representative Brian Booth - State Farm Agency, located in Vernon, CT is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This role focuses on educating clients on appropriate options, asking the right questions, proactively highlighting things they may not have considered, and most importantly being comfortable pivoting to additional products with a "service +1" mindset. If you have a talent for customer care and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team! As our Customer Service Representative, you'll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Answer phones and greet clients Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options You will receive: Starting hourly pay $22 - $27 (depending on licenses and experience) plus commission and bonus potential Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days) Retirement plan with matching contribution Group Life Insurance Valuable career-building experience Work/Life balance Casual dress Friday's Team lunch Friday's Quarterly team outings Support through licensing process and reimbursement for costs after exams passed
Requirements:
Personal Lines insurance license (must be able to obtain) Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain) Life and Health license (must be able to obtain) Strong customer service skills Excellent communication - written, verbal and listening Self-motivated Detail oriented Proactive in problem solving Ability to work in a team environment Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews Ability to effectively relate to a customer If you are motivated to succeed and can see yourself in this role, please submit your resume.
