Job DescriptionThe Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a multifaceted position with the overall broad objective of providing assistance and support to Metal Sales internal and external customers resulting in complete customer satisfaction and increased sales by coordinating all requests for information, promotional material, or products with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day customer service to include order entry, problem resolution, customer relationship management, correct invoicing, and sales support as necessary. Conducts all aspects of customer service including but not limited to order input, inside sales, invoicing, and resolution of customer disputes. Produces documents and responds to inquiries both internal and external in a timely manner. Assists both branch and sister branch personnel with order processing to include timeliness, status, and availability. Assists with resolution of disputes for both internal and external customers. Contributes and fosters teamwork within the administrative function. Responsible for providing pricing as time and ability permits to include quotes for small light gauge jobs where pricing is readily available. Provides support as needed to outside sales personnel. Coordinates delivery with shipping and traffic manager as necessary.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1 + years of Customer service or inside sales experience requiredExcellent communication skills and problem solving abilitiesExperience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word requiredKnowledge of NetSuite or Oracle operating system preferredConstruction and/or manufacturing knowledge strongly desired Must be detail oriented and able multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationThe US hourly rate for this full-time position is $18.00 - $25.00 / hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
