Customer Service Associate

Join our team at Pet Supplies Plus! We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individual to help support daily store operations while creating a friendly and welcoming experience for our neighbors and their pets. Position Overview As a Team Member, you will assist with day-to-day store operations, provide face-to-face customer service, support cashiering and POS system functions, maintain store cleanliness and organization, and help ensure the store remains audit-ready and fully stocked. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a positive attitude, and is interested in growing within the company. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service to all neighbors and their pets Operate cash registers and assist with POS system transactions Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and recovery throughout shifts Keep shelves stocked, faced, and inventory organized Assist in keeping the store audit-ready and compliant with company standards Help customers locate products and provide basic pet care/product recommendations Support receiving, freight, and merchandising tasks Work as part of a team to complete daily operational tasks efficiently Assist with pet care areas and animal-related tasks when needed Learn additional services such as nail trims (additional pay and tips available) Qualifications Retail or customer service experience preferred Animal knowledge or pet care experience is a plus Interest in growing within the company and learning new skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude, dependable, and ready to work Punctual with reliable transportation Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Full-time availability and flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays What We're Looking For We want someone who enjoys working with people and pets, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized store, and is willing to step in wherever needed to support the team.
