In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face ensuring guests enjoy a safe, enjoyable experience while managing the operations of our sauna facilities. If you love working outdoors, taking care of a beautiful space, and creating warm experiences for people — we'd love to meet you. What a shift looks like You'll arrive before opening, get the wood fire going to bring the sauna up to temp. You'll prep the cold plunges — cleaning, balancing, filling — and get the space clean and ready for our first members of the day. Maintenance or simple repair tasks may be needed at this time. Through the shift, you'll greet members as they arrive, keep the fire fed, check the plunges, and keep the music going. You'll be expected to be attentive to customers, providing guidance, selling merchandise from our shop, and keeping the area clean. At close, you'll cool the sauna down, scrub the sauna, drain and cover the plunges, fill the water tank, and lock up. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through sauna procedures and amenities Oversee the daily operation of sauna facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health standards Manage guest inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly, and handle guest feedback with professionalism and positivity Conduct safety checks, monitor guest behavior, and enforce facility rules to maintain a secure environment Handle cash transactions accurately for entry fees or retail sales related to sauna services You'll thrive here if you Have attention to detail, and take real pride in keeping a space clean and well-tended Enjoy people and can provide consistent, warm, easy conversation Believe in creating community around wellness, healing, and relaxation Show up reliably and on time, every shift Are comfortable working outside in any weather Are handy enough to understand working with fire, water systems, and basic maintenance Have the ability to troubleshoot problems in mechanical systems and use hand tools, or learn how Qualifications Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or guest relations Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure A self-directed attitude and a desire to excel Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences Ability to see gaps in systems and suggest improvments or make changes.
