Full Job Description Shipping & Fulfillment Specialist Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Overview At Crumb City, every package we ship is an extension of our customer experience. We're looking for a positive, dependable, and detail-oriented Shipping & Fulfillment Specialist who takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized in a fast-paced environment, can easily adapt when priorities shift, and remains calm and focused during busy periods. Success in this position requires a strong attention to detail, a team-first mindset, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed to support the bakery's overall success. Starting out, hours will mirror the owner, and then there are options! Responsibilities Accurately pack customer orders according to order specifications and packaging standards Build and prepare shipping boxes and packaging materials Print order slips, shipping labels, and fulfillment paperwork Verify every order before shipment with exceptional attention to detail Ensure packages are packed securely to maintain product quality during transit Troubleshoot basic printer, label, and shipping equipment issues as needed Adjust packaging and box sizes appropriately based on product and shipping requirements Communicate closely with bakery staff to coordinate product availability and order completion Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping workspace Assist with inventory organization and packaging supply management Meet daily fulfillment deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality Support other bakery operations and team needs as business demands change Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Positive attitude and customer-service mindset Ability to adapt quickly and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable using printers, shipping software, and fulfillment systems Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude Reliable attendance and punctuality Previous shipping, fulfillment, warehouse, production, or bakery experience is helpful but not required Ideal Candidate You take pride in getting the details right and understand that fulfillment is one of the final quality-control steps before a customer enjoys their Crumb City order.
