Cashier/Customer Service

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Your role will involve managing the cash register, assisting with product sales, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience in our liquor store environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience. Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system and cash register. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and efficiency. Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively sell items and assist with product demos. Stock shelves and ensure that the sales floor is organized and well-presented. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems for transaction processing. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A customer service-oriented attitude with a passion for helping others.
