This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with the goal of converting to a permanent position based on performance and experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with ERP systems and supporting large retail or enterprise-level clients, with a strong understanding of order management, account coordination, and client communication. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all customer invoicing both electronically and via mail. Work with the Sales Team to quickly resolve all customer credits and deductions. Download and enter all customer orders multiple times per day from EDI computer system. Enter all orders received via email or fax to ERP system. Recap any shipment shortages weekly and advise Management and Sales Team. Contact key customers weekly or bi-weekly to insure timely order receipt. Track all customer communication with outcome achieved. Key communicator to customers regarding any order shortages or delivery timing changes. Create and maintain a customer contact list for all key customer personnel involved in order processing, handling, or shipping. Maintain correct pricing for all customers and insurance costing is correct on all order confirmations.
Education and Qualifications:
HS Diploma required; Associates preferred. 3 - 5 years of applicable experience utilizing an ERP system for purchase order management. Work effectively in diverse team and fast paced environment. Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities/task in a fast-paced work environment with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills, verbal and written, required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational, time management skills. Able to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
