Service Writer/Advisor

Role Overview:

As a Service Writer/Advisor, you'll be the frontline of communication between our customers and our service team, ensuring smooth and effective management of maintenance and repair processes for our Kubota and Toro equipment lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and gather information about their equipment needs and issues. Write up service orders, outlining detailed information on the diagnostic findings and required repairs. Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring optimal workflow and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with the technicians, relaying customer needs and ensuring all services are performed to the highest standards. Explain service costs and work performed to customers, ensuring transparency and building trust. Manage service records and documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information. Follow up with customers on service experience and manage feedback to improve service delivery.

Skills:

Proven experience as a Service Writer/Advisor, preferably in diesel machinery or related fields. Strong understanding of Kubota and Toro equipment and the ability to articulate technical issues and recommended repairs to customers. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
