Service Writer - Equipment Dealership Love Power Equipment & Rentals is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you. As a Service Writer, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and service department, ensuring repairs are communicated clearly and completed efficiently while providing an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Greet customers and accurately document service concerns. Create repair orders and maintain detailed service records. Schedule service appointments and manage technician workflow. Communicate repair estimates, approvals, and timelines with customers. Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient completion of repairs. Order parts as needed and coordinate with the parts department. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process. Process completed work orders and prepare invoices. Assist with warranty claims and manufacturer documentation. Maintain accurate records in the dealership management system. Follow up with customers after repairs to ensure satisfaction. Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional service department. Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or customer service representative is preferred. Experience in agriculture, construction equipment, powersports, automotive, or heavy equipment is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Valid driver's license required.
