Job Description
This position is for a Service Advisor for our Destin office. You will work along side other office staff and report to the service manager and assistant service manager. Your job is to coordinate your team of generator technicians whose jobs is to service all 10,000 of our customers located throughout the state of Florida, doing preventative annual maintenances on them, diagnosing them, repairing them, warranty work, etc. Interviews and Training (paid) will be at our Oldsmar location (near Tampa) for a week or 2 . As soon as you have it down you will be working full time in Destin. Pay is split between your hourly rate paid out biweekly, and commission pay for all jobs completed biweekly. This is a Monday through Friday job 8 - 5. New candidates are preferred to have experience in the office or manager setting, especially in the automotive or generator world, such as an automotive advisor, tire shop, or preferably generator shop. These generators are car engines so much of the job is the same as the auto industry, performing PMs, processing customer jobs and paperwork, collecting money, upsells, and staying on top of your team's schedule and needs. You will have at least 4 technicians to be directly responsible for right way and go up from there. GenerX is a fast paced environment and requires you to be someone who is always early, eager, and ready to work. New hires should be able to come in every morning and have a good attitude towards co-workers and the customers. We are quickly growing and in need of someone wanting to learn lots and grow with us. We like to send all of our motivated employees to Generac schooling to get higher and higher certifications regardless of office or road work. There is lots of room to move up for people that put in their time and show us what they can do.
