New store location coming soon. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that helps customers complete their purchases smoothly while providing exceptional service that keeps them coming back. Your multitasking skills and positive attitude will drive sales, ensure accurate transactions, and enhance the shopping experience in a fast-paced retail setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service expertise and retail skills in a vibrant, team-oriented environment. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and answering questions about merchandise Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance product visibility and appeal Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support stocking and inventory management tasks to ensure shelves are replenished promptly and accurately Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings is a plus Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration Basic math skills for handling transactions, retail math calculations, and giving correct change confidently Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and a positive attitude toward teamwork This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
