Quality Control Specialist - Customer & Documentation Focus (FDA / Food Industry) Onsite | Full-Time We are partnering with a growing company in the food industry seeking a Quality Control Specialist to support customer-facing quality processes and end-product compliance. This role focuses on ensuring accurate documentation, meeting customer requirements, and maintaining regulatory standards across finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, create, and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA) and other quality documentation in SAP to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and submit required certificates (Phytosanitary, Free Sale, and others) based on customer and regulatory requirements
- Handle customer requests for quality documentation, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Oversee quality programs including sanitation, allergen control, pest control, Kosher certification, and expiration reporting
- Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Production teams to support customer orders and documentation needs
- Maintain detailed records, perform data analysis, and provide reports to leadership
- Review microbiology test results, support SOP compliance, and assist with validations and investigations
- Support operational quality processes, including backup for raw material or component release as needed
