Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Writer to join our automotive repair shop. The Service Writer serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring an outstanding service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery. Greet customers professionally. Answer incoming phone calls and emails. Schedule service appointments. Receive vehicles and document customer concerns. Prepare repair estimates. Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services. Obtain customer authorization before repairs. Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle status. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process. Process invoices and collect payments. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records. Assist with warranty documentation when applicable. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Maintain a clean and organized front office.
