• Make the move to Lake Placid, FL Boater's World Marine Centers is actively expanding our Service Department and is hiring an experienced Service Writer / Service Advisor to support a high-volume, growing operation. This role sits at the center of the dealership
• working directly with customers, technicians, and parts

What You'll Be Doing Greet customers and provide professional, customer-first service Document repair needs, unit condition, and service history Create accurate repair orders and estimates using Lightspeed Communicate updates, timelines, and approvals throughout the service process Coordinate with technicians, Parts Department, and vendors Identify additional service opportunities based on customer needs Support overall service department workflow and follow-up What We're Looking For Previous Service Writer / Service Advisor experience (marine or powersports preferred) General knowledge of boats, marine engines, or similar equipment Experience using dealership systems (Lightspeed preferred) Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Why Join Boater's World Marine Centers Expanding service department with consistent workload High-impact role tied directly to customer experience and shop performance Stable, team-oriented environment Opportunity for long-term growth within the organization

Schedule & Work Environment Full-time:

8:00 AM

• 5:00 PM Sunday off + one weekday off Overtime available during peak seasons Active role with some physical requirements (lifting, bending, reaching)
