In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from start to finish. Your enthusiasm and automotive knowledge will help diagnose customer needs, recommend appropriate services, and coordinate repairs with our skilled technicians. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended services clearly, including auto diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs. Prepare detailed estimates using auto estimating software and communicate costs effectively to customers. Upsell additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining integrity and transparency. Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of work. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage service writing documentation with attention to detail. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships that promote repeat business. Submitting Warranty work Requirements Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred Familiarity with automotive repair processes such as oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, tire service, air brake systems, suspension work, auto body repair, and diesel engine repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto estimating software and automotive service writing is advantageous. Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining honesty and integrity in all interactions. Knowledge of mechanic work or service technician experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills with cash handling experience preferred.
