Boaters Exchange, a Top 100 Dealership, is seeking a Marine Service Advisor / Parts Associate who is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized individual capable of coordinating the service work for customer's boats. Responsibilities include developing relationships with customers through successful management of service and product delivery, developing cost estimates, scheduling and tracking repairs, and documenting work to be performed and work that has been completed. The Service Advisor is the "go to" person at Boater Exchange when a customer drops off or picks up service boats and engines and is usually the point of contact throughout the service process.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the marine industry as a Service Writer or Advisor
  • Boat enthusiast with a friendly and positive disposition, and a strong knowledge of boats and boat systems. Yamaha experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, well organized, with excellent customer relations skills, self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail in organizational, time management, observation and listening skills _ Must have experience with boats
  • Experienced in hauling boats
  • Proficient in Lightspeed
  • Proficient in inventory management
  • High level writing and computer skills
Requirements:
  • Honesty and Integrity
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Work related references
  • Ability to haul boats if necessary Required experience:
  • Customer Service experience
