Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Call Center Specialist to become a part of our Dermatology team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer, orient, and greet patients in an enthusiastic manner. Determine the appropriate clinic location and schedule patients into our computer system accordingly. Obtain required demographic, insurance, and eligibility information and enter it into the system accurately to ensure proper claim filing. Determine if the patient's insurance needs a referral and start the referral process. Maintains professional working relationships with all contacts, both internal and external. Provide timely responses to all inquiries (verbal / written) regarding patient accounts Exhibits high patient-service attitude at all times. 100% of work time spent on answering calls and scheduling appointments .

Qualifications:
At least one year of previous experience in healthcare Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
