Customer Service Representative Bridge Medical Transport Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time $15 - $16 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Interpersonal skills English High school diploma or GED Data entry Full Job Description Overview We are a growing EMS and medical transport company based in Atlanta, Georgia, seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Receptionist/Dispatcher to join our team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly under pressure, and has a passion for serving others in the healthcare field. You will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors, while also coordinating the dispatch of our medical transport units. No two shifts are the same — this role requires focus, composure, and strong multitasking skills. Responsibilities Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member Manage scheduling, appointments, and maintain accurate records Handle data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks Maintain a clean and organized front office area Dispatcher duties: Receive and process transport requests from facilities, patients, and healthcare providers Assign and coordinate available units based on location, availability, and priority Maintain constant radio and phone communication with field crews Log all calls, transports, and unit statuses accurately in real time Relay critical information clearly and calmly to crews and supervisors Assist with after-hours dispatch coverage as needed
Qualifications:
Required High school diploma or GED Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry, scheduling software) Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Preferred (not required) Prior experience in dispatching, EMS, medical transport, or healthcare administration Familiarity with CAD (computer-aided dispatch) software Knowledge of Atlanta metro area geography Bilingual — English/Spanish a plus CPR certification or EMT interest/background
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
