Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair recommendations clearly, including auto diagnostics, transmissions, brake repair, oil changes, tire service, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, and auto body repair Prepare detailed estimates using auto estimating and service writing tools; upsell appropriate services to enhance vehicle performance and safety Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as mechanical repairs or automotive diagnostics Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all service work performed Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns or questions Maintain thorough knowledge of dealership services including auto sales, vehicle maintenance packages, and current promotions Qualifications Previous dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and auto estimating software Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, tire services, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engines, and auto body repairs Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Familiarity with automotive sales processes is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications such as ASE are advantageous Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care! Pay:
$36,000.00 - $77,355.44 per year
