Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of vehicle repairs and maintenance. Your willingness to give exceptional customer service will drive positive experiences for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide a service to our clients that is above and beyond what is expected. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Capable of multi-tasking Coordinate with service manager to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial exchanges. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Proven experience as a Service Writer or in auto service within a dealership or repair shop environment. Familiar with automotive repair process. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds. Ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining trust and transparency. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential, along with a complete background check. Basic cash handling skills coupled with strong organizational abilities.
