Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. Clearly explain available services, current promotions, and special offerings such as free vehicle inspections. Create, manage, and update service tickets within the system accurately. Coordinate repair schedules with technicians and ensure timely communication with customers regarding job status. Discuss costs, timelines, and any additional work needed in a transparent and customer-friendly way. Process payments and complete necessary paperwork upon service completion. Maintain accurate, up-to-date service records and documentation. Keep the front counter area clean, organized, and welcoming. Ensure every customer interaction reflects Southern Tire Mart's high standards of service.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems. Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services is a plus.
