Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is stocked appropriately. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. Supervise and train new cashiers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Assist in managing inventory levels by restocking shelves as needed. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, aiming for resolution and satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
