- Support our customers' 24/7/365 needs Position Summary The Parts/Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by sourcing, quoting, and supplying OEM and aftermarket parts for Bobcat and related construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers, phone callers, and online inquiries with parts lookup, quotes, and orders.
- Identify correct parts using EPC systems, schematics, serial numbers, and equipment history.
- Promote and upsell OEM fluids, filters, ground-engaging tools, accessories, and specials.
- Follow dealership pricing structures and maintain margin integrity.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty parts in accordance with policy.
- Support technicians with prompt availability of shop and field service parts.
- Stage parts for upcoming repairs and communicate backorder/substitute options.
- Coordinate closely with Service Coordinators on scheduled repairs and PMs.
- Receive, bin, and organize incoming shipments.
- Support inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and discrepancy reporting.
- Maintain clean, organized counter, warehouse, and staging areas.
- Generate invoices, quotes, purchase orders, and special orders via ERP.
- Maintain accurate records and customer notes.
- Process core returns, warranty claims, and vendor credits.
- Stay updated on Bobcat parts bulletins, supersessions, and new releases.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in heavy equipment, construction, automotive, or powersports parts environments preferred.
- Strong ability to read schematics, EPCs, and serial-number-based lookups.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and operate a forklift (training available).
- Strong computer skills with dealership ERP systems (CDK, HBS, TBS, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, accuracy-driven.
- Valid driver's license.
Work Environment:
- Primarily at the parts counter and warehouse.
- Daily interaction with customers, technicians, and service staff.
- Occasional travel to other branches or training.
- Some exposure to outdoor weather when loading/unloading parts.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$25.00- $32.
