Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming environment for every customer. In this role, you will handle transactions efficiently, provide exceptional service, and assist customers with their shopping experience. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help drive sales and ensure store operations run smoothly. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail skills while making a meaningful impact on our customers' day. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information with enthusiasm Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and attractive store layout Upsell related products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting stock counts Skills Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles within grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of POS systems and retail math principles to ensure accurate register operations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform product demos confidently while engaging customers actively Familiarity with merchandising, stocking procedures, and store presentation standards Strong phone etiquette skills for professional communication with customers and team members Join us in creating a vibrant shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
