Customer Service Representative

Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide support through phone, email, and in-person interactions while helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Provide a variety of customer support services via phone, mail, and in-person interactions Handle approximately 30 inbound calls per day Process orders and assignments, entering data into internal systems Reference pricing and coordinate delivery information Respond to customer inquiries, questions, and service requests Maintain accurate customer records and set up new accounts Perform clerical duties including filing, word processing, and document management Prepare and process paperwork in advance of scheduled events, ensuring approvals are secured Assist with general office tasks and team support as needed Required Qualifications 2-3 years of customer service experience (retail or office environment) Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (including basic spreadsheet use) Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Previous office or administrative experience Experience in insurance or claims environments Soft Skills Outgoing and personable Helpful and service-oriented mindset Strong team player Positive attitude with a willingness to contribute to a fun, energetic workplace Work Environment & Perks Relaxed, team-oriented culture Business casual dress code (jeans and gym shoes permitted) On-the-job training provided Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Dundee, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
