Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and confidence, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including stocking shelves and merchandising products to attract customer attention Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or promotions to increase sales opportunities Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support inventory management through stocking, product demos, and merchandising efforts to keep displays fresh and appealing Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
