Job Description

The Warehouse & Customer Service Representative role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring products move accurately and efficiently from the warehouse to the customer while providing professional support to customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and capable of working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on industrial setting. This role requires both physical work and strong communication skills to ensure customer orders, deliveries, and inquiries are handled accurately and efficiently. This position works closely with the warehouse manager, logistics team, customer service staff, and sales teams to support inventory accuracy, order processing, and customer satisfaction. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments. Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency, accessibility, and safety. Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately and on schedule. Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of materials, products, and shipments. 2. Order Fulfillment, Deliveries & Logistics Support Ensure all outgoing orders are properly packed, labeled, and loaded. Assist with local, short‑distance deliveries as needed, ensuring accurate and timely drop‑offs. Verify delivery items with customers and obtain required confirmations or signatures. Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues to internal teams. Support shipping and receiving documentation and accuracy checks. 3. Customer Service & Order Support Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and product availability. Assist customers with order status updates, shipping information, and basic product questions. Coordinate with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve order issues or discrepancies. Support quote & order entry, order changes, returns, and exchanges as needed. Maintain professional, responsive communication with customers via phone and email. Ensure customer requests are handled accurately and in a timely manner to support long‑term customer relationships. 4. Equipment, Safety & Facility Compliance Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workspace. Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or inventory damage promptly. 5. eCommerce & Online Listings Support Upload product information, descriptions, pricing, and photographs to eBay. Assist with managing online orders, customer questions, and shipment coordination. Ensure online listings accurately reflect inventory availability and product details. Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment preferred. Customer service or order support experience strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate clearly with customers, drivers, and internal teams. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required in a warehouse setting. Basic computer skills; experience with order systems or eCommerce platforms is a plus. Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
