Ideal candidates are customer-oriented, empathetic, patient, and confident problem-solvers who can investigate issues and communicate effectively via phone or email. We are looking for individuals who are genuinely excited to assist our customers and able to advocate for them when necessary. Their goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Manage incoming calls and e-mails with OEM and distributor sales channels. Data entry of customer requirements. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communications. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right tools/methods. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
Skills Required:
High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred with proven customer support experience or experience as a customer service representative. Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and listening). Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and CRM software. Background in hydraulics or fluid power industry a plus.
