Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years IR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
Day Shift On-Call Rotation, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
Active IL RN Licensure (IDFPR) Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required) Minimum 3 years of RN experience; at least 1 year in critical care Cardiovascular Intervention experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Successful completion of EKG test before orientation ends
Key Responsibilities:
Apply the nursing process and critical thinking to patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team Complete thorough assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations Administer medications and treatments per policy and regulatory standards Document all care accurately and comprehensively Develop patient-specific care plans; educate patients and families as needed Participate in departmental quality improvement and shared governance activities Provide clinical guidance and support to related departments and resolve system challenges Embrace opportunities for professional development, evidence-based practice initiatives, and peer feedback For ambulatory/clinic settings: manage patient flow and conduct telephone triage
