  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Master Mechanic/Service Advisor to join our automotive service team.
This pivotal role combines technical expertise with customer-focused service, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are performed efficiently and accurately while delivering an exceptional experience for our clients. As a leader in the service department, you will oversee daily operations, mentor technicians, and drive sales through upselling and excellent customer service. Your hands-on mechanical skills, combined with your ability to communicate effectively, will help maintain the highest standards of automotive repair and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of skilled mechanics and technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Diagnose complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, air brake systems, and alignments. Perform or oversee repairs such as oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts replacements, diesel engine repairs, auto body repairs, and other mechanical services. Manage service writing duties by accurately estimating repairs, preparing work orders, and explaining technical issues to customers clearly and professionally. Drive sales by identifying upselling opportunities for additional services or parts that meet customer needs while maintaining transparency. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records. Maintain a thorough knowledge of dealership procedures, automotive repair standards, and current industry trends to ensure top-tier service delivery. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and automotive diagnostics. Extensive mechanic experience across various systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension work, tire servicing, shocks & struts, diesel engines, and air brake systems. Demonstrated ability in auto estimating and service writing with excellent attention to detail. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership skills to mentor team members effectively. Experience in auto body repair or related fields is a plus. Valid certifications in automotive repair or relevant technical training; ASE certification is preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
