We offer expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic control systems, automation, and repair.Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.Education and Experience:
Required:
High school diploma 1 - 2 years customer service experiencePreferred:
3+ years of customer service experienceDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Answer quote requests from customers and account managers via email and phone for pricing and lead time using established procedures. This may also involve reaching out to vendors to procure pricing, lead time, catalog information or substitutions for products that are no longer available. 2. Process incoming orders from customers and account managers and send confirmations in a timely manner. 3. Create PO's to vendors for products, as needed. 4. Expedite orders with vendors based on customer needs. 5. Follow up on overdue customer orders. This may involve reaching out to vendors for tracking information or invoice copies, as needed. 6. Coordinate with account managers and other internal departments to resolve customer issues, technical questions, repairs and returns/warranty. 7. Provide timely and professional responses to all customer emails and calls, including new order requests, new quote requests, part inquiries, expediting requests, and order status updates. 8. Enter orders and quotes in an accurate and timely manner. Follow up on orders and quotes until billing receives them. 9. Complete minor parts and technical cross training as required. 10. Monitor specifically assigned accounts. 11. Maintain accurate customer records.Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Ability to handle changing priorities and challenges. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn ERP and CRM software.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
General office environment with some exposure to industrial shop environments. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Job Type:
