Full-time Position Purpose:
As a member of our front-line staff, the Member Service Representative will have the primary responsibility of performing member transactions accurately and efficiently. Member Service Representatives will gain a basic understanding of all products and services of Thrive Credit Union to ensure we tailor our products and services to our members' individual needs. Roles and Responsibilities Welcomes and establishes relationships by getting to know the members of Thrive Credit Union to provide wow customer service. Responsible for processing transactions in a proficient and accurate manner. Recommend products and services that will be beneficial and meet the member's needs. Be responsive to member needs and work to address problems and concerns in a professional and courteous manner in person, by phone, and/or via electronic services including e-mail and text. Exhibits wow customer service behaviors, and adherence to operational procedures and processes. Gain knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements. Work as a team to complete daily tasks, demonstrating respect and professionalism with all employees and members of Thrive Credit Union. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required Cash handling and member service experience is strongly preferred. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring, which commonly require shorter discussions. Must be available to work the required schedule, including Saturdays Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor PC and internet proficiency Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Work Environment & Physical Demands This position operates in a professional office environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and communication via telephone and electronic channels.
