Cashier/Customer Service

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions with attention to detail. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that may benefit the customer. Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products, services, and store policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store and enhance the overall customer experience. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong phone etiquette skills to handle customer calls effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not necessary, enhancing communication with diverse customer backgrounds. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to increase sales. Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain a tidy work environment.
