Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative - Counter Sales to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our company at the counter, providing expert assistance to customers while managing sales transactions. Your enthusiasm for product knowledge, combined with your excellent communication skills, will drive high-end sales and ensure a positive experience for every customer. Responsibilities Assist walk in customers with order placing and will call pickups. Answer incoming calls and process orders. Help the warehouse team with any incoming merchandise for customers. Identify customer product needs and create sales quotes/orders. Develop relationships with current & prospective customers. Work with the Branch Manager and Outside Sales Team to recognize and cultivate potential sales leads from existing and prospective customers. Processes orders - performs order entry, reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data. Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customers. Coordinates with the warehouse department to pull product(s) for customers. Maintain a clean, orderly and inviting showroom and workspace. Qualifications A great attitude and customer service experience. Fastener knowledge is a plus, but not required. The ability to solve problems, source products & present solutions. The ability to communicate and work well with other employees.
