Job Description

DMDP DUTIES

Responsible for support services for the Department of Metropolitan Development's various sections and projects, such as Management & Planning, Community Development, Economic Development, Brownfield, and Historic Preservation. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Incumbent exercises independent judgment to accomplish various assignments. Knowledge of office procedures and ability to maintain orderly files of documents and other materials. Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Ability to deal with department personnel and the public in a tactful and courteous manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality of files and records. Ability to operate a computer and various software applications including Word, Excel, and Access, as well as a copier, scanner, typewriter, and fax machine. Replacing Mike Reed - one of two Part-Time poisitions
