Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Plant Customer Service Representative to manage the customer order process and support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in driving on-time delivery and ensuring a top-tier customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system accurately and on time Communicate with customers via email and phone regarding orders, inquiries, updates, and changes Ensure timely deliveries by coordinating with scheduling, production, and shipping Handle filing, billing, and purchase order coordination with internal departments Follow up on past-due accounts and enter quality complaints when needed Maintain detailed product specifications and manage inventory for key customers Collaborate with sales and service teams to fulfill customer needs Identify and resolve order issues before production Recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
2+ years in a customer service role (manufacturing experience preferred) ERP system knowledge (order entry/returns) is a plus Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel Key Competencies for
