Tubbs & Sons Ford Sales is seeking a talented Automotive Service Writer to join our dedicated team. As a Service Writer, you will be the main point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a smooth process from vehicle intake to release. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively, and ensure that all repairs and services are handled with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service throughout the vehicle repair process. Listen carefully to customer concerns and assess vehicle issues to determine the best repair strategy. Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, offering detailed pricing estimates. Coordinate with parts suppliers and technicians to ensure all required materials are available for repairs. Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle and estimated completion times. Answer questions regarding services performed, pricing details, and future maintenance recommendations. Schedule service appointments over the phone and manage service workflow. Perform follow-up communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred. Computer literacy, including experience with scheduling and invoicing software.
