Job Description

Customer Service Associate/Fitter Position Summary Meets and greets patients and families upon arrival and attends to their needs. Maintains and updates customer files. Obtains required patient & insurance information for patient registration for mastectomy, breast pumps and compression. Maintains and tracks mastectomy customer's monthly and annual refill due dates. Properly fits patients for prosthetic breast forms and related products and instructs use and care of products. Assists with dispensing breast pumps and ordering compression garments. Maintains orderliness of front reception area and showroom. Assists with sales and operations of durable medical equipment including inventory, purchasing, and merchandise display. Minimum Qualifications Work Experience Previous guest relations and/or customer service related experience preferred. Previous retail experience preferred. Education High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certifications/Licensure Certified Mastectomy Fitter required within 12 months of hire/placement. Job Specific Performance Standards The duties listed below are a summary of the major essential functions of this position. Determines special needs and provides professional and timely attention in meeting needs. Provides general information related to operations of Tomorrow s Woman and The Perfect Fit. Maintains files and verifies benefits. Obtains required patient & insurance information for registration for mastectomy, breast pumps and compression. Verifies information is complete and accurate. Scans all completed files into medical record. Obtains updated DWO/prescriptions as needed. Prepares files for patient appointments. Obtains prior insurance authorizations. Maintains and tracks mastectomy customer's monthly and annual refill due dates. Properly fits patients with prosthetic breast forms and related products. Educates patients on use and maintenance of prosthetics and/or related products. Follows up with patients to ensure patient satisfaction of products and services. Properly fits customers for specialty bras and maintains adequate knowledge of products and services to best serve the customer. Assists with sales and operations of durable medical equipment including inventory, purchasing, and merchandise display. Assists with dispensing breast pumps and ordering compression garments.
