Allie's Walkabout is growing AGAIN! Our second location officially opens in Covington on October 5th, WHOO!!! We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Client Care & Canine Guest Services (a.k.a. Front Desk) team members for both our Erlanger and Covington locations . We are a family-owned business that continues to grow as we set a new standard in the pet care industry. This is not your average desk job. At Allie's Walkabout our front desk team is the heart of the operation, keeping the day flowing smoothly for our clients, staff, and (of course) the dogs! Working in pet care isn't easy, and this role is fast-paced, hands-on, and very physical. You'll be greeting excited pups (and their people), answering phones, managing reservations, checking dogs in and out, processing payments, and keeping our lobby sparkling clean. You'll be on your feet a lot, walking dogs back to play areas or to thier owners, standing behind our welcome desk, and helping where needed so please keep in mind that this job is both customer-service and physically active! One year of customer service experience is required, as well as a love of dogs, people, and teamwork! Compensation starts at $15 per hour and raises after training is complete. Qualifications ✓ 18 years or older ✓ Available to work 6:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and/or 2-8:30 p.m. ✓ Available a minimum of 3 days per week, including one weekend day ✓ Willing to work at least 25 hours per week ✓ You must be able to perform active, physical work and stand for 4-6 hours at a time ✓ Dependable and punctual ✓ Open to giving and receiving feedback ✓ Likes to have FUN while they work ✓ Loves dogs AND people ✓ Communicates clearly and honestly ✓ Has a positive attitude that reflects our core values ✓ It takes time, training, and trust to build relationships between our staff and our pups that for some, are lifelong bonds. For that reason, we do not hire seasonal staff . If you have already interviewed with us within the past year, there is no need to reapply, including for our new Covington location.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
