FLOAT DME CSR

Responsibilities/Objectives Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per week. Primary location in Morgantown, frequent coverage of our Hartford and Bowling Green locations expected. Responsible for taking referrals for Durable Medical Equipment. Obtaining all intake information accurately and completely and forwarding to the Intake department for processing within 24 hours. Responsible for calling all insurance companies upon referral for coverage status in regard to: medical equipment coverage, in/out of network providers, pre-authorization requirements, deductibles and/or co-pays. Responsible for accurate and complete filing of documents into Document Management. Seeks guidance and assistance in difficult or unusual situations for problem resolution following the established chain of command. Responsible for coverage criteria and compliance must assist service technicians in maintaining patient evaluation verses medical equipment coverage. Responsible to help prioritize deliveries and service. Promptly notify service personnel of any activity which requires their attention. Responsible for assisting all walk in customers. Responsible for data input of patient demographics, insurance and equipment in company's software system. Responsible for completing all paperwork timely and forwarding to the appropriate location (ex. purchase orders, transfer forms, time sheets) Responsible to oversee restocking all branch inventory, OTC and medical equipment by coordinating with Warehouse Manager through Purchase Order requests. Other miscellaneous as requested by management

Job Knowledge/Objectives Ability to work in various locations and offices as needed. Demonstrate working knowledge of the varying aspects of home medical equipment field. Demonstrates excellent customer service mind-set and skills. Demonstrate working knowledge of office equipment (including computer, adding machine, copier and fax machines) Has proper telephone etiquette. Demonstrates general filing principles.
