Work Arrangement:
Fully Onsite Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Administrator III to serve as the first point of contact for customers at a busy service location. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service and service-industry background , particularly experience in automotive, equipment, dealership, repair, or service-center environments. The Service Administrator will handle customer intake, understand and document service needs, schedule repair appointments, coordinate drop-offs and pick-ups, assist with basic troubleshooting questions, and provide customers with service updates. The ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with customers both in person and over the phone , can manage multiple requests, and knows how to prioritize changing demands in a fast-paced service environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customers in person and by phone. Conduct customer intakes and gather relevant information regarding service needs. Listen to customer concerns and assist with basic troubleshooting questions. Schedule repair appointments, vehicle/equipment drop-offs, and pick-ups. Create basic work orders in the appropriate service systems. Provide customers with service status updates as needed. Accurately document customer, equipment, and service information. Follow established service procedures and workflows. Escalate technical issues when additional expertise is required. Support service teams by ensuring accurate information is captured and communicated. Manage multiple customer requests while prioritizing urgent and time-sensitive work. Maintain professional, customer-focused relationships throughout the service process. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer-facing experience . Comfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phone . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple requests and adapt as workload changes. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM. Preferred Qualifications Previous service industry experience . Automotive, equipment, dealership, repair, or service-center experience. Previous Service Writer / Service Advisor experience. Experience creating work orders or service tickets. Experience scheduling repairs, appointments, drop-offs, or pick-ups. Familiarity with warranty, repair, or service documentation processes. #
