Seeking an outgoing, talented, motivated, reliable, customer friendly, experienced Service Advisor to join our family. Our employees do not just find a job a Planet, they find a career and a home. Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person. Five years service advisor experience is required. As a Service Advisor at Planet Chrysler Jeep, you are one of the leaders in our Service Department. You need to have a strong ability to dispatch work orders to technicians when required, upsell recommended services, get approvals on required jobs from customers and insurance companies, and help efficiently run the office and the shop. You will also be a key points of contact for customers bringing a car in for service. You will greet them, write up the repair order, and recommend services. You will stay in touch with them through the day to let them know about the progress and also to request permission to do any additional work that the technician discovers. The day is busy and moves quickly. The two most important qualities to have are friendliness and organizational skills. For example, if the car takes longer to complete than originally predicted, most customers are okay with that as long as you're nice about it and you call ahead of time so they don't show up and find out that they have to sit around and wait. You need to be able to deal with the occasional grumpy customer who isn't polite or reasonable. We have three service advisors.WHY PLANET?
