We're a family-owned business that makes pawn loans, buys gold and silver, repairs jewelry and watches, and sells fine jewelry. We're growing, and we're looking for a dependable associate to join our team at 77 Essex St. What you'll do Write pawn loans and purchase tickets accurately, including verifying customer ID and recording every item in our system Test, weigh, and evaluate gold and jewelry using our scales and testing equipment (we'll train you) Process loan renewals, interest payments, and redemptions Call and text customers before their loans come due so they don't lose their items Sign up customers on our customer form and let them know about our repair services and jewelry Answer phone calls, texts, and emails in English and Spanish Help keep the store clean, organized, and well merchandised, both in-store and online Join short team meetings to go over the day's and week's priorities What we're looking for Bilingual in English and Spanish, spoken and written (required) Comfortable with math and handling cash accurately Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar) Reliable and on time, every shift Calm and respectful with customers, including when the store is busy Available 36-40 hours per week, including Saturdays (on Saturdays we close at 3 PM), with occasional overtime Two ways to grow with us Every team member at Henry's starts here, and there are two paths forward.
