Job Description

As a Service Consultant, you will be pivotal in delivering outstanding automotive service and customer support. Your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and service writing will enable you to effectively address customer needs and ensure vehicle maintenance. Benefits Competitive Pay Performance-based bonuses or commission Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with employer match Paid time off and holidays 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting Strong knowledge of automotive systems and terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Responsibilities In this role, you will be the liaison between our customers and service technicians, ensuring each vehicle receives the necessary maintenance and repairs efficiently and professionally If you have a passion for automotive service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we'd love to meet you Greet customers and determine their service needs by actively listening and asking relevant questions Write clear and accurate repair orders and estimates based on customer concerns and technician inspections Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, including cost estimates and timelines Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicle Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service Upsell additional services and preventative maintenance when appropriate, based on vehicle condition and manufacturer recommendations Maintain detailed records of all service interactions and vehicle repairs Ensure a clean and organized service desk area Stay up to date on vehicle recalls, service bulletins, and dealership promotions
