In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with sales transactions, product demonstrations, and store merchandising. Your proactive approach will help ensure our store remains organized, stocked, and inviting, all while fostering positive relationships with shoppers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills and grow within a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding experiences. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping journey Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with confidence and attention to detail Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked by performing stocking duties regularly Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking inquiries Assist in supervising team members during busy periods, supporting a collaborative work environment Use strong communication skills to address customer questions, resolve issues promptly, and promote store promotions or loyalty programs Assist with restocking coolers Experience Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions efficiently Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership development opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with grocery retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and a friendly demeanor are crucial for success in this role Assist with stock/redemption as needed Must be 18 years old Join us as a Front End Associate to make every customer interaction memorable!
