In this fast-paced role, you'll be the friendly face greeting customers, taking their orders, and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Your culinary skills and customer service expertise will help create a welcoming environment, whether in the restaurant or through takeout and delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry knowledge while delivering top-notch service with a smile. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food ordering needs both in-person and via phone or online platforms Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including assembling subs and other menu offerings Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order management Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods seamlessly Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly attitude Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred; experience in retail or grocery stores is a plus Join us in creating delicious experiences for our customers!
