Job Description

We are growing again!!! Join our amazing team out of Taunton, MA!! Full-time, Monday thru Friday 9:30am -6pm We offer a great benefits package, with a matching 401K, health, dental, vision, disability, and more! Summary Dennis K. Burke Inc., headquartered in Taunton, MA, is looking for a dynamic, motivated person to join our Customer Service Team! This an opportunity for someone that will thrive in a fast-paced environment and can successfully prioritize work and multi-task. This position works with multiple departments and includes a wide range of tasks and the use of multiple systems. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to address a wide range of requests, including order placement, estimated delivery times, pricing discrepancies, and account maintenance Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, handle payments, and provide basic product information Gather and analyze all relevant information to assess the validity of customer concerns, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions Research and resolve customer issues using internal databases, product documentation, and available resources Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments for further investigation and resolution Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer support and service delivery Follow up with customers regarding inquiries and communicate updates or resolutions in a timely manner Complete assigned daily responsibilities, including monitoring, auditing, and reporting tasks Provide support and assistance on additional customer service initiatives and cross-departmental projects as needed Knowledge, Education and Skills Requirements Exceptional interpersonal abilities; able to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization in a professional and courteous manner Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proven team player able to work successfully with a team Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with experience using database-driven systems Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and mathematical skills Physical Requirements and responsibilities Able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally Able to bend, stand, walk, sit Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer including keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other office equipment Monday thru Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm
