Cashier/Customer Service

Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information or demos when needed Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and organizing displays to enhance product visibility Support upselling initiatives by recommending complementary products to increase sales Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote a positive shopping experience Collaborate with team members to supervise store operations and ensure smooth daily functions Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for daily cash reconciliation tasks Knowledge of merchandising techniques, product demos, and stock management practices Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally and courteously Join us in creating a vibrant shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
